Community Equipment Programs (CEP)

The Community Equipment Programs consists of a suite of programs including:

  • Continuous Positive Airways Pressure (CPAP)
  • My Future My Choice (MFMC)

Each of these programs have different equipment options available as well as different eligibility guidelines.  If you or someone you know may be eligible for one of these programs please contact us and we will discuss these programs with you. 

Continuous Positive Airways Pressure (CPAP)

The CPAP Program assists people in the Grampians Region who can least afford to purchase their own sleep therapy. The program is managed by Ballarat Health Services (BHS)through the State-wide Equipment Program's (SWEP) Community Equipment Program (CEP). Please see the CPAP section for more details.

The CPAP Program provides:
  • CPAP Machines

My Future My Choice (MFMC)

This Program is an initiative of Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) to provide support to those people who reside in Residential Aged Care (RAC) facilities and have received equipment funded by the MFMC Program in the past. The CEP is responsible for maintaining all funded equipment. Please see the MFMC section for more details.

The MFMC Program provides subsidy towards:
  • Bathing/showering/toileting equipment
  • Beds/mattresses/bed accessories
  • Electronic voice aids
  • Environmental control units
  • Home Modifications
  • Orthoses and custom footwear
  • Pressure care equipment
  • Specialised seating
  • Transfer equipment
  • Walking and standing aids
  • Wheelchairs (includes customisation) and scooters
  • Wig
