We would like to advise our prescribers of the resignation from Ballarat Health Services of Wendy Hubbard, who has been SWEP's Chief Allied Health Officer (CAHO) since the inception of SWEP.
Wendy has been a key driver in the evolution of SWEP with an unrelenting stance on
provision of a fair and equitable consumer focussed service delivery model. Our prescriber registration base now has over 6,500 prescribers registered with us and we operate within a corporate governance framework that ensures transparency around continuous improvement,
priority of access frameworks, budget and demand strategies, stakeholder engagement, prescriber accountability and the importance of organisational agility. Wendy's influence will continue to shape the organisation into the future.
While we wish Wendy well in her future career, we would also like
to take this opportunity to welcome Donna Markham, a very experienced OT as our CAHO for an interim period. For those of you who don't know Donna, she comes to us with a wealth of knowledge and experience within Allied Health - as one of the General Managers of Allied Health at Monash Health, a member of the AHLC (Vic) and a lead role in the development of the AH Capability, Credentialing and Competency Framework for DHHS.
Donna's primary responsibilities as our CAHO will be to manage our Clinical Advisory Panel and to finalise changes to our SWEP Prescriber Registration & Credentialing framework to align with the new DHHS framework.
Her email contact for SWEP related queries about the framework changes is donna.markham@bhs.org.au, however, any general enquiries about SWEP or a client's application that you wish to escalate for discussion can be forwarded to the SWEP Director jeni.burton@bhs.org.au.
Portfolio responsibility for SWEP at an executive level at Ballarat Health Services is now held by Craig Wilding and his contact email address is craig.wilding@bhs.org.au
