SWEP Database - Prescriber Communique #4

SWEP would like to thank you for your patience as we transition to the new database. We appreciate that that it is a new layout and it may take some time to get used to the format.  During the first couple of days we have identified a couple of technical issues that SWEP are working to resolve. Once these are rectified, we will send our further communiques.  
  • character or syntax errors - when you reach the clinical justification section prior to saving/submitting your application please copy and paste to a word document. If the error continues, please attach this document to your application and submit.
  • your organisation contact details - you may receive an error if you did not update your organisation details prior to starting a new application. If you need assistance on how to do this there is a guide on our website here
We have received feedback already from prescribers who feel that this new prescription form is too long. The script was developed with input from our clinical advisors but we appreciate we may still need to make improvements to address your concerns.
Please continue to send us your constructive feedback and we will make improvements as soon as we can. We will need to prioritise fixing database issues before we make changes to the script but we are committed to making continuous improvements.
Whilst we have added new sections to the application form, the intention was not to make them more onerous but to ensure inclusive and consistent scripts. You can use a short concise statement / sentence to address the questions.
