SWEP Non Customised Equipment Tender Outcome

15 February 2019

Non-Customised Equipment Tender Outcome

After a rigorous and robust evaluation process, SWEP is pleased to announce that the Non-Customised Equipment Tender is now complete. This has ensured that the equipment selected has been certified under the relevant Australian Standards, meets the specifications required by our consumer group and has been secured at the best value for money.

We thank our Clinical Advisors, expert AT Practitioners, Rehabilitation Engineer, consumers and consumer advocates for their valuable input into the various phases of the evaluation.

SWEP is now transitioning to the contracted equipment provided by our new Suppliers. Over the next week, you will notice changes in the Prescriber portal as well as updates to our picklists & catalogue.
We will be publishing our catalogue, which will include photos, descriptions and specifications of the contracted items within the next week.
An expo is being planned in the near future to allow AT Practitioners to meet Suppliers, view contracted items and answer any questions you may have.  As soon as a date and venue has been confirmed we will let you know. In addition, we will have a webinar for those of you who are unable to attend the expo.
For waitlisted items, SWEP may contact you to discuss the potential for substituting items through the newly contracted Suppliers.

Please feel free to provide us with any feedback as we transition to the newly contracted items. You can provide feedback via swep@bhs.org.au or to Sarah Hiller/Projects Team Leader sarah.hiller@bhs.org.au .

King Regards
