SWEP is committed to ongoing quality and improvement, and we are pleased to advise that we have reviewed and updated The Standard for registration and credentialing with SWEP. We believe these changes will make it much easier for practitioners to understand what is required of them and to navigate the resources and application types.
This Standard has been released and is now published on the SWEP website https://swep.bhs.org.au
Hover over the 'AT Practitioner' heading in the blue tab across the top of the webpage, and click on the drop down heading 'Registration and Credentialing'
You will noticed that The Standard has been divided into individual professional groups for easy reference and increased clarity around what needs to be submitted for the various credentialing application types.
If you have already submitted a credentialing application on the previous paperwork this will be accepted. However from 1 January 2020 only applications on the updated paperwork will be accepted, and all applications will be assessed against the updated standard.
If you have any questions please contact swepcaho@bhs.org.au
