Last year in July 2016 SWEP launched our new website with online application submission. To date this has been working well for prescribers and SWEP. It has allowed for quicker processing of applications, easier tracking for SWEP staff and prescribers, it also helps SWEP to reach its goal to reduce paper waste.
Since the launch, we have received feedback that prescribers would like access to the website for administration staff. SWEP have been working on this behind the scenes and are now pleased to say we are in a trial phase.
Administration access will allow you to log into the website, create & view applications, add attachments; however, you will not be able to submit direct to SWEP. The application is then submitted to a SWEP registered prescriber from within your organization who will review the application and then submit to SWEP. The registered prescriber is the owner of the application but administration staff will be able to see this on their website portal.
The trial phase will continue for another three weeks and once completed a communique will be sent out to advise registration can be applied for.
