Ben graduated in 1989 and has worked in both the private and public sector since then. He started his own orthotic practice, Geelong Orthotics in 1997 and continues to provide both private and public orthotic services in Geelong. Ben is involved with the Deakin Medical school and lectures in orthotics for the medical students. He has a particular interest in complex musculo-skeletal and paediatric conditions.
Ben was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2002 which took him to the USA, England and Europe to investigate current orthotic techniques for managing children with Cerebral Palsy. Ben finds a growing and dynamic profession with new innovations and options for managing conditions rewarding.
