State-wide Equipment Program

October is already here and it brings along with it a touch of warmer weather which is lovely!

There has been quite a lot happening in the background at SWEP and in this blog you can read about the now funded postage of garments supplied through the Lymphoedema Compression Garment Program.

The State-wide Equipment Program has been administering the Lymphoedema Compression Garment Program since its transition from Mercy Health in 2017.
The program covers between 40% to 60% towards the cost of the compression garments for eligible clients with Lymphoedema. SWEP has proudly administered the program with no waitlist since 2017.
SWEP has conducted a review of the LCGP Operational Policies to ensure that it continues to meet the key principles of the program by improving outcomes for individuals.

And now after consultation with the Department of Health and Human Services, SWEP is pleased to announce that LCGP will now cover all costs associated with the postage of garments supplied through the program, which is a fabulous outcome for all consumers.
