SWEP will be launching a new database on 2^nd July 2018.  The new database will provide a user friendly experience for all users. We need your help to make sure the data we migrate to the new system is as accurate as possible.

Please read this communique carefully as there are some important actions you need to take to ensure your details and any draft applications you have are not missed. 

The upgrade will significantly enhance our administrative operations and ensure we continue to provide the very best service for all our stakeholders.

Some things will not change:

• Your SWEP assigned Prescriber number will remain the same
• You will still access the new database via the SWEP website
• You will still be able to view your applications, their status and attach required documentation

Some things will change so that the application and assessment process can be streamlined:

• Your view of the new database will look different
• Applications will be completed in stages, including an 'Item cart' with the ability to add contracted as well as quoted items before 'checking out'
• The way that equipment is selected using our pick list codes will change. You will be able to 'drill down' within equipment categories to identify requested items. E.g. Mobility aids > Manual Wheelchair

We need you to update your details in the system prior to 25th June 2018

• Ensure your Profile Details are up to date on our database. You can update these here. https://swep.bhs.org.au/account.php

Your Contact Email address will be used as your primary organisation email in the new database. Your alternative email will not migrate to the new database.

 

Draft Applications

'Draft' applications, including AutoSaved (draft) applications dated prior to the 3^rd June 2018, will be cancelled and not migrated to the new database. If you have lodged any applications that have a draft status, please ensure they are either 'submitted' or 'withdrawn' by 10^th June 2018.  

SWEP will not maintain an accessible archive of cancelled applications. You will need to resubmit the entire application if a draft application is not  'submitted' by 10th June 2018.

SWEP are totally focused on continuing to meet the needs and expectations of our stakeholders with the implementation of the new database.

Further communiques will be provided over the coming weeks prior to going live on 2^nd July 2018.
