Further to our communique dated 14 September, 2022 we are writing to apologise for errors made in our communication regarding the Convatec range of products, and would like to correct these in the points below:

selected range of products that has been discontinued by Convatec is attached here
As previously advised, we have comparative products available for discontinued items through Independence Australia.
What does
this mean for your consumer?
We cannot order and/or substitute
another product for your consumer currently using a product that appears on the
discontinued list, without your recommendation. You will need to recommend an
alternative product for your consumer from our contracted items list and either
email swepcont@bhs.org.au with your new recommended
product or submit a new application. The
SWEP continence catalogue is available on our website.
This will allow us to ensure a
seamless changeover of products for those consumers affected and ensure they
are not left without suitable products.
We sincerely apologise for
any confusion or concern we may have caused with regard to the Convatec product
range, in our previous communications.
