We are writing to
provide you with the outcome of our recent Tender for the supply of domiciliary
oxygen.
SWEP is pleased to
announce Air Liquide Healthcare (ALH) as the successful contractor to supply
oxygen to consumers of the Domiciliary Oxygen Program effective from July 1,
2024.
SWEP acknowledges
the services provided by Supagas for several years. We wish to reassure all stakeholders that we
are confident that the new Supplier will provide quality services as was
demonstrated throughout the rigorous tender evaluation process.
ALH has extensive experience providing oxygen equipment across Australia for over 25 years. Nationally, ALH is an approved supplier to other Commonwealth and State and Territory Government funded programs.
Our transition
planning is based around minimal interruption for your patients, as they
transition from the current service by Supagas to ALH. We are working closely with
the current and new Supplier to ensure that the new equipment is installed, and
your patients are confident about using it, before removal of the Supagas
oxygen equipment. Please rest assured, there will be no change to the 'packages'
of oxygen equipment currently being used.
SWEP has contacted
all current Domiciliary Oxygen consumers to advise them of this change. Following this ALH staff will be in contact
with your patient to arrange delivery of the new equipment. Subsequently we will coordinate the
collection of the Supagas equipment.
