Dear Practitioners
In alignment with supplier contracts a CPI increase of 2% will be applied to non-customised, assistive technology equipment for 2025. This adjustment will take effect on 1st January 2025.
Over the next few weeks, we will be updating the SWEP Portal and our online equipment catalogue for these items -
swepcat.bhs.org.au/ .
SWEP will also conduct a review of applications as follows:
Applications with a status of Waitlist
- Consumers with applications that are now above the subsidy or where a previous gap amount was confirmed, will receive a letter from us to advise of the new or increased gap funding required
- Those within subsidy will require no further action
Applications with a status of Awaiting Top Up
- If the gap funding has increased, we will communicate this to the consumer to obtain an updated confirmation of gap funding form.
