Dear Practitioners
In accordance with the supplier contracts we hold for non-customised, assistive technology equipment, each year a CPI increase is applied. The increase for 2026 is set at 3.28% (effective from 01 January) and we are working to review applications, the SWEP portal and our online equipment catalogue.
SWEP will conduct a review of applications as follows:-
Applications with a status of Waitlist processed pre- 01 January
- Those within subsidy will require no further action
- Consumers with applications processed before 01 January, will have previous pricing honoured.
Applications processed after 01 January with status of Awaiting Top Up
- If the gap funding has increased, we will communicate this to the consumer to obtain an updated confirmation of gap funding form.
- If for any reason you need to review an application, please email swepat@gh.org.au to request that we return the application to draft.
