Nikki Knighton

Nikki Knighton is an Occupational Therapist that originally trained in Lymphoedema therapies with the Vodder School in Austria as a Remedial Massage Therapist. She currently works in private practice and has extensive experience in assessment, education, and development of self-management strategies for people with primary and secondary lymphoedema, and lipoedema - including collaborative decision making about compression garment prescription and use. She completed a project for Bendigo Health that provided the foundations for improving access and equity to Lymphoedema Services in the Loddon Mallee by building on the already strong clinical networks and shared care across the region. Nikki is passionate about supporting Lymphoedema Practitioners to build their confidence and skills in working with clients, products, and suppliers to provide clinically effective and financially efficient outcomes in collaboration with unique needs of individuals.
